Revit's Not That Hard... Let Me Show You!

Hello!

I'm Jeff.

I started the Revit Kid mainly to help my peers. I remember when I first began learning Revit there were very few online resources to help someone learn it. There was also a limited amount of video style tutorials. I bought books and tried learning that way but it just wasn't the way I learned.  So I created this website to teach you about Revit and BIM abroad the way I wish I was taught... Through easy to follow, and to the point, video tutorials.
I am extremely grateful that you are interested in Revit and Building Information Modeling and have chosen to visit my website in search of that information.  Whether you are a student, a professional, or both, I hope the site can offer value to your everyday life.

I am a licensed architect and have worked in the field for over ten years now.  When I began studying architecture in High School I was immediately drawn to the convergence of technology, design, and practice.

When I finally created a project in Revt and presented it my classmates had tons of questions. Instead of answering the same questions over and over again I thought it would be helpful to post them online so everyone could see. Honestly, I never thought it would be what it is today and I never thought it would have opened the door for so many other things in my life.

Please, feel free to subscribe to my newsletter and RSS feed below for updates on all things Revit, BIM, architecture, and technology related:

There are over 1,200 posts on this blog spanning over the past eight years... I know, crazy!?  Sometimes even I have trouble finding an old post.  I decided to put together a little video that will guide you through the website and demonstrate how to take full advantage and get the most value out of the blog....
