Tutorial - Sheet and Sheet Basics

I am happy to say that I have two more finals left this week and my Design Studio Project is finished!  This finally leaves me some time to make the tutorials that I have been wanting to make all semester.

This first tutorial is very simple and many of you may know the topic well.  Although, during this semester I have had countless number of sutdents asking me how to do it.

Topics Include:
  • Multiple methods to create sheets.
  • Lodaing in different Titleblocks.
  • Multiple methods to adding views to a sheet.
Click here to view the Sheet and Sheet Basics Tutorial..

Stay tuned for Titleblock creation/editing tutorials...

"Sheet basics" link is broken... :(
Hi,
Thanks for creating your website. It really helps a lot.
Just wondering how to make a wood grain hatch vertical? or
how to make the system wood grain to run vertical ?
I have the same exact question!!!! How do you get a wood hatch to run parallel when it appears on a slanted floor or ramp? It always appears (when rendered) slanted.
Could you please tell how to export an A3 Size sheet set to DWG or JPEG or any other suitable file format and take a Print to scale in A3 sheet. I want to do this because most of the printing centers don't have REVIT software to take Printouts, they have only AutoCAD mostly 2008 version. I have tried Exporting it to AutoCAD but the imported file has become like a drawing done in a CAD program and has lost all its image colors and became simple layer type which I don't want.

I hope that you understood the problem that i am facing. Please try to reply ASAP cause i Have to take the printouts by June 4th.

Kindly,
Jay
