Revit Tutorial - Stained Glass Windows

Here is a little something I discovered while created a Chapel this past semester.  I noticed there were lots of forum posts out there searching for the best way to create stained glass in Revit.  This was not to difficult and yielded some awesome results...

Topics Covered:
  • Creating stained glass material and bump pattern.
  • Applying stained glass material.
  • Rendering stained glass in a curtain wall and a window.
  • Day, Night, and Interior views of the stained glass.

this may be alittle overkill model wise.... the detail is great, but will bog down the views.
Actually it does not effect the model at all. It is a rendering material so it will not slow down production one bit.
Question... I followed the directions, and have a non-square shaped window. I made a custom window family and created a [Photoshop] PNG image to overlay. I got everything set, and when rendered, no light transmits, yet, I have the settings the same as in the video. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong! This is an existing catholic church and has 4'-4" x 24'-6" stained glass panes. (I am using Revit 2017)
