The Revit Kid Project - Master's Thesis - Cycle Design/reBuild

I'M BACK!!

I would like to thank you all for being so patient the last few months while I completed my semester.  I am happy to announce that I am finally finished!  I am also happy to announce that you guys continued to check out the blog and content while I was away... In fact, the blog rolled over 2,000,000 hits during my hiatus.

As many of you have been contacting me letting me know how much you enjoy seeing some of my personal work (beyond this blog) here are some goodies from my final thesis presentation.... (you can full screen and click through the presentation)....

If you are having issues viewing the Prezi full screen follow this link...

I will eventually be posting my final thesis book for you all to view when it is completed and that will have all of the information about the presentation above.  Furthermore, below are the high resolution renderings from the presentation for your viewing pleasure.

Some of these renderings are Revit > 3DS Max > VRay > Photoshop (click to enlarge):

The following rendering is simply Revit and Photoshop:

Also, don't forget to follow my on twitter @TheRevitKid ... I was posting there quite a bit during my hiatus.

Glad that you are back and congratulations for the Master's degree...I gotta admit it's a very nice project and the presentation quality is pretty awesome too... unfortunately I couldn't see the Prezi presentation...it's all grayed out and nothing is loading.
I have to say I am pretty disappointed in your thesis project. It looks like you took a very safe route. A master thesis should challenge you to push the boundaries of your creative thought process and show an accumulation of all the knowledge you have gained through your educational journey and experiences. If there was a design show similar to Masterchef but for architects ( MasterArchitect) you would not have passed the first round. I do admit you do have quality skills in Revit. Congratulations of completing your masters.
Hey I am really happy that you have completed your Masters. Congratulations!! It is quite an accomplishment and I hope you really enjoyed the entire process. I am liking the way you thought this project out. I will continue to look it over so that I can digest more of it. Do you think that you would have time to give a tutorial on the rendering process you used to produce your presentation ala revit > 3dsmax > Vray > photoshop. I think that being able to see the steps you took would be great as rendering isn't one of my strong point right now and I am hoping to pursue a Masters in the not too distant future. Every bit of learning helps. Thanks so much for all of your work and enthusiasm in putting this blog together. It has surely helped me in grasping Revit.
