Revit Tip - How to Hide a Revision Cloud

Funny little detail when using Revision clouds. If you want to hide the revision clouds on a sheet and also hide the revision information from the revision schedule on that same sheet how would you hide it?  Well, common sense would tell you to simply hide the revision cloud and tag categories (especially if you have multiple clouds).  Unfortunately, your revision schedule will continue to show the revision information!

So, how do you hide the revision cloud, tag, AND information from your sheet?

Manually select all of the clouds and tags and hide them in view!! Tah-dah!  Now the associated revision schedule will not show that revision.  This quirky little feature happens with project and sheet based revisions... How fun!

Since you are talking about revision clouds. How do you get the revision cloud to be evenly spaced? It looks bad

A very simple solution is to draw a detail line in the sheet view prior to selecting "revision". Now select "revision" and draw your first cloud which will snap to the end points of the detal line and copy multiple after that. This will give you a uniform cloud and in a straight line. Play around with the length of the detail line to get the desired look. It is also a good idea to do all your revision clouds for a given sheet in the one session.
Revision Haiku:

Clouds may drift away, but Deltas are there to stay.
