Tutorial - Stair Question

I was asked about how to create a certain stair.

I have never created a stair like the one in the video. I think this was a great way to show you all my process of figuring out little things in Revit. Problem solving is a very important part of Revit and Architecture. Without schools pushing the requirement of programs like Revit we are faced to learn on our own. I hope it helps!

can you do the same with the monolithic stairs? :D
Good vid Jeff, but this actually just highlights why Revit is so frustrating!

I have a love/hate relationship with Revit - and watching this brings out our hate side... You shouldn't have to fight with a program to get it to do what you want.

There should simply be PARAMETERS for something like this. Look how it has joined the stringers and rails on the inside of the bend!! Ok, stairs are fairly complex structures to automate like Revit does - but once it has created something it should be a little easier to adjust than attempting to recreate it over and over nudging lines around until it looks correctish...

It would be great to see part 2 of this where you actually get the stairs looking as they should and ready for construction.
Great tutoral. How would you do a circular stair? Tread sizes are going to vary in depth and the outside curves.
Can someone help us? We are doing a hotel renovation job, where we have created existing elements for the guest room interior as groups. We need to make some of these walls be in the demo phase. But when we change these it only changes that particular group that was edited not all groups. Can anyone help with this or point us to the right direction?
