It has been over a year since Autodesk acquired BitSquid and I have been patiently awaiting what would come of it for the AEC industry. Well, we finally get a glimpse of how this acquisition will effect us Revit users. Continue reading for a video reel of what can be done using the "stingray engine"...
I imagine project expo will look similar but not require the use of 3DS Max. Which is pretty neat...
I look forward to checking out this new project and seeing how it compares to the likes of Lumion, etc...

I've been a follower for quite some time now and I just want to say; keep up the good work. You post great material etc. Appreciate it.
In regards to real-time rendering I cannot wait to see the Stingray engine being implemented inside Revit. What a great tool. In the meantime we, in the office, are using the product called Enscape3d. It is a german firm and their realtime rendering plugin for Revit is truly spectacular. I highly recommend you take a look at it. They have a free trial and I'm sure you will like it.
It sets itself apart from other real time renderer since it is integrated within Revit and it is highly interactive.
Thank you again for posting great stuff.

I have given Enscape a try and it is extremely promising! Right now, I am big into Lumion for Real-time type of stuff... I love the way these companies are progressing!
